This policy explains what information MakeTCG (“we”) processes when you use maketcg.com (the “Service”), and the choices you have.
In short: the card editor runs in your browser. Your cards and images stay on your device. We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
1. Who is responsible
MakeTCG is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Contact: support@maketcg.com.
2. What we process
Your cards and images. Everything you put on a card, including text, settings and the images you upload, is processed in your browser. Drafts, images and custom abilities are stored in your browser’s storage (IndexedDB and localStorage) on your device. They are not sent to our servers.
Preferences. Your colour theme, accent colour, 3D card effect and editor layout are stored in your browser’s localStorage.
Technical data. When your browser requests a page, our hosting provider receives technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. It is used to deliver the website, keep it secure and prevent abuse. Our hosting provider is Cloudflare, Inc.
Emails. If you email us, we receive your email address and your message and use them to reply.
We do not ask for your name, we do not have user accounts, and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
3. Cookies and browser storage
We do not set cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies in some situations, for example to stop automated attacks. The browser storage described above is used only to make the editor work. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
4. Legal basis
Where the GDPR (EEA and UK) or the KVKK (Türkiye) applies:
- delivering and securing the website relies on our legitimate interests and is necessary to provide the Service;
- replying to your emails relies on your request and our legitimate interests;
- storing data on your device is strictly necessary for the editor you are using.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Technical data is processed by Cloudflare as our hosting provider. If paid plans are introduced, payments will be handled by a provider acting as merchant of record, and we will update this policy before that happens. We may disclose information when the law requires it.
6. International transfers
Cloudflare operates a global network, so technical data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep data
Data in your browser stays until you delete it. Cloudflare keeps request logs for a short period under its own policies. Emails are kept as long as we need them to handle your request.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the KVKK or the CCPA), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and complain to your data protection authority. Your cards and images never reach us, so you can delete them yourself by clearing this site’s data in your browser. For any other request, email support@maketcg.com.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
10. Changes
We update this policy when our practices change, for example when user accounts or paid plans are introduced. The date at the top shows the current version.
